There is an entry for this Bradley [variant spelling: Bradelle? / Bradelie?] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SU6341/bradley/] [accessed 14 August 2018] but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. The Victoria County History (Hampshire, vol. 4, 1911) notes: "The first mention of a church in the parish is in 1291 [...] The church was entirely rebuilt in 1877, but some of the old work was re-used; from this it appears that the chancel dated from the first half of the 13 th century [...] All the furniture is modern". The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SU6356142484] mentions no font in it. [NB: we have no information on the font from the medieval church].
