Baptismal font in the interior of the cathedral; octagonal basin with curved sides carved in what appears to be 'Manuelino' style, the decorations an array of motifs that include rope mouldings, foliage, etc.; raised on a moulded circular pedestal base, and a round-to-square lower base that may have figures (animals?) at the angles. The wooden cover is octagonal and flat; date unknown.
