Baptismal font of a design more common in Cornwall, the top square and resting on four angle shafts, as one short shaft that supports the bottom of the underbowl; the sides of the square top are decorated with dog-tooth, half-balls, etc., an there is a small quatrefoil in the corners that serve as capitals to the outer columns; the columns themselves are decorated with torsade pattern; the lower base is square and plain. The wooden cover is square with a very low raised open pyramid; modern. [NB: the original fabric of the church is said to be ca. 1230, but we have no information on the earlier font]
