The object appears to be a large stoup or a small font; it is located against a wall inside Haddon Hall [exact location not yet known] and looks like the back side is only roughly carved, as if intended to go against a wall originally; it consists of a heptagonal (?) basin that are vertical and plain, except for a crenellation around the upper rim-side, and a thin scotia around the lower side; the pedestal matches the shape of the basin and is decorated with two thin mouldings; the object is much damaged (cracks, missing chunks).
