The Mérimée database [Référence : PM46000095] reports a four-sided holy-water stoup on which are represented scenes from the life of the Virgin [="bénitier à quatre faces sur lesquelles sont représentées quatre scènes de la vie de la Vierge"]; the support is dated 12th-century in this source. Noted and illustrated in Penaud-Requier & Penaud (2010); holy-water stoup consisting of an octagonal basin with four cylindrical protrusions and dated 1733 by an inscription; raised on a square re-cycled Romanesque capital (?) decorated with three scenes from the Childhood of Christ cycle: Annunciation, Nativity and Flight to Egypt, as well as one related to the symbol of Avarice [NB: perhaps the parable of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16, 19-31), a scene that appears both in Moissac and St-Sernin of Toulouse]. The authors note that the quality of this work resembles that of the works at Moissac and Toulouse.
