The object now used as a holy-water stoup may have been formerly a capital; it is decorated on the sides with a vine interlace and other leaf arrangements; the lower rim is moulded; the upper one may have been too, but it is damaged now; it is supported on a round pedestal base, but may be also wall-mounted on one of the pillars of the baptistery.
