In his entry for the Romanesque font at San Asensio, originally from Davalillo, Sáenz Rodríguez (2004) reports another baptismal font in San Asensio, located in a little park off the church, in the open, subject to all weathers; this source notes that the font was originally from the parish church of San Millán, in nearby Villarrica, a church now disappeared; the font is described as consisting of a hemisphercal basin decorated with ribbed pattern, and a slender cylindrical stem; Sáenz Rodríguez (ibid.) suggests a Renaissance date in the 16th century, but notes that it has been otherwise dated as Gothic, of the 14th century.
