Font Notes:
The RCAHMW (Pembroke, 1925) record of their 16 September 1920 visit notes: "The church has been carefully restored, and the chancel entirely rebuilt. The original building probably dates from the last quarter of the 12th or first quarter of the 13th century [...] The font bowl is octagonal on a circular shaft; it is of the 14th century." The Hasguard entry by Mike Berrell in Steve Bulman's 'The Churches of Britain and Ireland' site [http://www.churches-uk-ireland.org/pembroke.html] notes: "the remains of St. Peter. Closed in 1979, the roof was later removed and the building managed as a "controlled ruin". SM 854 095. © Mike Berrell (2010)" [NB: we have no information on the whereabouts of the font; it may still be in the "controlled ruin"].
