No idividual entry for Boulston found in the Domesday survey. Lewis' Dictionary of 1844 refers to this church as ancient and supposedly built by and for the Wogans family owners of the manor. The font is mentioned in the RCAHMW (Pembroke, 1925): "I n the year 1843 this church was practically rebuilt on its former foundations [...] The font is modern, but an earlier font lies at the west end of the church."[NB: a grading report [Ref. no. PGW (Dy) 69 (PEM)] [http://www.coflein.gov.uk/pdf/CPG181/] done for Boulston Old Hall reports the "ruined Boulston Church lies above the shore a short distance to the west"] [NB: the ruins mentioned above are probably those of the Boulston Manor church, near Uzmaston, reported ca. 2011 in Welsh Ruins [www.welshruins.co.uk/boulston-manor-church-uzmaston-pembrokeshire] [accessed 13 February 2020]: "A remote church and churchyard standing in a small patch of woodland and only accessible by foot stands on the edge of the banks of the Cleddau Estuary. Tall trees reach up and through this roofless church which was abandoned after World War 2. Within many features and carved stone remain, some fragmented and some in remarkable condition - some with the name 'Wogan' easy to read and also a large coat of arms (of the Wogan's) laying against a wall."]]. The entry for this church in COFLEIN [https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/419516/details/boulston-church] [accessed13 February 2020] notes: "Boulston Church, the private church of the Wogan family, was largely abandoned after the Second World War, lying on the banks of the Cleddau it is in a ruinous condition.
