Noted in the RCAHMW (Pembroke, 1925) as a Norman font. Described in Lloyd (2001): "Font. Square Norman bowl, chamfered to circular pedestal." Noted in Thurlby (2006) in a long "List of scalloped table-top fonts in Pembrokeshire". The entry for this church in British Listed Buildings [https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300011998-church-of-saint-jerome-llangwm] [accessed 24 January 2020] notes: "Anglican parish church of St Jerome or St Hierom, medieval, heavily remodelled in C19 but retaining in N transept important remnants [...] C13-14. [...] medieval font, square, splayed below to large round stem, on C19 base (font is described as scallopped in 1856)." The Llangwm Villages web site [http://www.llangwm-villages.org.uk/llangwm_churches.html] notes: "The limestone font has a plain square bowl and a cylindrical base and probably dates back to the 13th century."
