The RCAHM (Montgomery, 1911) reports a pair of medieval querns "now in the parish church, at foot of the font, [...] found in this parish, between 1858 and 1878, by the late Rev. Thomas Rowlands, vicar. The larger one is 16 inches, the smaller 11 inches in diameter." [NB: the font itself is not dealt with, presumably a late one -- some parishes have moved medieval querns, grain measures and other font-like objects inside churches; Bond (1908) warned against such practices; some querns are known to have been decorated, even with religious symbols]
