The RCAHM (Montgomery, 1911) records a font in the present church, originally from the earlier church that was pulled down in 1865; the font is described as being "of late 15th-century date, octagonal in shape and clumsy in appearance." The CPAT Montgomeryshire Churches Survey Project [www.cpat.demon.co.uk] reports a medieval font in this church.
