A sworn declaration before a local judge and auhorities given on 8 September 1702 includes a passage on damages to the baptismal font of the parish church of St-Paul-la-Coste; the font was found in pieces, the basin on the ground; damage was also done to a holy-water stoup [source: http://www.camisards.net/ [accessed 10 November 2010] [NB: the church itself appears to have been documented since 1156]
