Font Notes:
Noted in Valle Barreda (2009) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period, the basin decorated with a blind arcade of round arches. The font consists of a quasi-cylindrical basin decorated with shallow round arches or windows, and with a rounded underbowl, on a base consisting of a plain and narrow stem, a wider circular lower base, and a still wider circular plinth, all three parts totally plain. The wooden cover is flat and round; there is at least one metal staple in the upper rim. The whole is a bears the mark of crude local workmanship.
