Font Notes:
Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico en Aragón (Zaragoza, vol. 1, 2010) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period, similar to the one at the Ermita de la Virgen de Cabañas in La Almunia de Doña Godina. Baptismal font consisting of a large roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a roll moulding at the upper rim, otherwise plain, raised on a very short round stem and a round-to-square lower base with spurs at the angles on the square volume, both probably modern; the whole is raised on a two-step plinth, also modern. The basin has a large rectangular piece cut out at the rim, a practice common in Romanesque Pyrenean fonts of this area and across the border into France: it is the place where the locking plate is usually inserted [missing in this font]. The present wooden polygonal cover is flat and plain. modern.
