The present font is of 17th-century design, but appears modern; it consists of a round tapering basin decorated with a torus-scotia combination at the upper rim, and shallow concave ribbing on the sides and underbowl; on a moulded round pedestal base; square lower base. The wooden cover is round and flat, with small knob handle; modern. [NB: the church itself goes back to the early 13th century, but we have no information on its earlier font(s); the building was damaged during the Civil War (1936-1939)]
