Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Cuenca (2009), which notes that this font was originally from the nearby village of Gascas de Alarcón; roughly hemispherical basin decorated with deeply-cut diagonal ribs, raised on a circular pedestal base decorated with piping. The Enciclopedia... [ibid.] notes Salmeroncillo de Arriba and Albendea as somewhat related to this font, and remarks that Nieto Taberné found a later model of this font in the one at Villagarcía del Llano.
