Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Cuenca (2009) as a Romanesque baptismal font originally from the old church at Villarejo de Fuentes. Noted and illustrated in José Luis Rodríguez Zapata's El Arte en Cuenca (1998) [www.elarteencuenca.es/blog/pila-bautismal/cuenca-san-pedro] [accessed 18 September 2020]: "Se decora con moldura de bocel liso en su borde superior y una franja sin decoración bajo ella enmarcada por una línea incisa inferior que la separa de unos arcos de medio punto apoyados sobre capiteles y pilastras planas que terminan en la ancha base del vaso con una doble moldura horizontal." The basin is roughly hemispherical, decorated with a moulding at the upper rim, and a blind arcade of round arches on columns with capitals all around; the squat base, wider at the top, is decorated with graded mouldings. No cover present.
