Stone baptismal font recorded in the archives of the Göteborgs stadsmuseum [ref. G.M. 1425] with suggested date ca. 1100 and origin as the parish church of Askum [cf. Index entry for Askum No.1]. The font consists of a hemispherical basin decorated with what appears to be a busy pattern of vines and/or foliage all around the basin; raised on a round pedestal base probably of later date.
