Stone baptismal font recorded in the archives of the Göteborgs stadsmuseum [ref. G.M. 1581] as being of an unknown origin; dated to ca. 1300 and the stone of the basin identified as soapstone. The font consists of a round basin with tapering sides decorated with large palmette-like floral motifs all around; raised on a circular pedestal stem with a thick roll moulding atop; round graded lower base. The basin shows considerable damage.
