The church was already in a dilapidated state by the late 1970s and is now disused. [NB: a Norman doorway is reported in various sources from an earlier church on this site, but we have no information on its medieval font]. Bettley & Pevsner (2007) report the building "in private ownership; interior dismantled in 1958, some fittings transferred to Elmdon [...] and the Hamlet Church". This same source notes a font in Hamlet Church [a former barn converted into a church in the mid-19th century; the font is "Classical. Marble bowl on stone stem." [NB: this font is not originally from Wenden Lofts and must be modern]
