On-ste notes: baptismal font consisting of a round basin raised on a square base supported by a central baluster-shaped pedestal and four outer figures; the basin, which is also made of wood, appears to have no drain, although there is a patch covering the area now; the lower base is also square, box-shaped, with putto heads accompanied by fruit and garlands; the standing corner figures are the four Evangelists, each accompanied by a smaller figure, a symbol of each. The font has two covers: one is flat and round, with a knob handle; the other is a canopy raised above the font, very ornate and inscribed with a Biblical text; similar font covers are recorded at Tonder and Rabsted. Both font and cover are painted and gilded. The corresponding entry in Danmarks Kirker suugests a date for the font and cover ca. 1620. [NB: the church fabric goes back to the Romanesque period, but we have no information on its earlier font]
