Baptismal font; illustrated in Walker (1883) with a drawing by Th. Guyot; it consists of an octagonal basin with moulded sides and, between the mouldings, a band of foliage and fruit, with human faces or masks at the angles; tapering octagonal stem to a centre ring moulding, then splaying out to a moulded base, also octagonal; round inner basin well. [NB: we have not been able to identify it with any of the other fonts at the museum]
[No cover present but there are two metal staples in the upper rim from a previous font cover.
