Font Notes:
The present font in this church consists of a square basin with chamfered angles raised on a similarly shaped pedestal base; the basin has floral motifs at the underbowl; the stone appears to be a red-and-white marble. The cover is flat, of the same shape as the basin, and has a ring handle; appears contemporary with the font, which is probably late 19th-century. [NB: part of the tower fabric goes back to Norman times, but we have no information on the medieval font here]
