Noted in the Patrimonio Bragança website [www.bragancanet.pt/patrimonio/veigas.htm] [accessed 25 June 2010] as a baptismal font on the north side of the nave [="pia baptismal no lado do evangelho"]. The granite font consists of a round basin decorated with a damaged roll moulding at the upper rim, and a pattern of diagonal ribs all around the sides and underbowl; at the upper end of the ribs, just below the roll moulding, is a band of scallop motif (looks like zig-zag in some spots); the basin is raised on a round-to-square base, also made of granite. [NB: this same source mentions a holy-water stoup on the south side of the door [="no lado da epístola, uma pia de água benta"]]
