There is an entry for this Easthorpe [variant spelling] in the Domesday Survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/TL9121/easthorpe/] [accessed 14 June 2018], but it mentions neither priest nor church in it. The Victoria County History (Essex, vol. 10, 2001) entry notes: "John Kingston, rector 1528-58, was one of Bishop Bonner's commissaries; he bequeathed to the church a cross of copper and gilt 'with a font of the largest sort'." The VCH (ibid.) further notes that the dedication of this church to St. Mary "was recorded in 1427", but the nave and west end of the church date from the 12th century. A posting dated 22 November 2010 in the Essex Churches site [http://churchesinessex.blogspot.com/2010/11/easthorpe-essex.html] [accessed 14 June 2018] about this church notes: "Apparently closed, now a meeting and conference centre. [...] Looking through the window, all furnishings have been removed except for the altar, font and pulpit (all 19th Century)". [NB: we have no information on the earliest font of this church -- cf. Index entry for Easthorpe No. 2 for a medieval stoup in this church]
