Font Notes:
The present baptismal font consists of an octagonal basin with vertical sides, raised on an octagonal pedestal base; it is practically plain, except for a couple of thin mouldings on the base. Octagonal wooden cover with open-work and crocketted arrises; counterweight system in place to raise the lid. Both font and cover appear modern [NB: the church fabric goes back to the 13th century, but we have no information on the medieval font of this church].
