There is an entry for this Tibberton [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/SO9057/tibberton/] [accessed 1 October 2014], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. Miller (1890) notes: "The old church was of the 14th century [...] rebuilt 1868". The Victoria County History (Worcester, vol. 3, 1913) notes that the present church was built in 1868, but "The font is now octagonal, but from the remains of a horizontal roll at the corners it would appear to have formerly been round in plan and was probably of the 13th century." In Brooks & Pevsner (2007): "probably C13".
