Font Notes:
There is an entry for Cotheridge [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/SO7854/cotheridge/] [accessed 22 October 2014], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. Miller (1890) mentions some remains of Norman architecture in the church but not a font. The Victoria County History (Worcester, vol. 4, 1924) notes: "The chancel and nave, built probably of sandstone [...] date from the first half of the 12th century [...] The font is modern." Brooks & Pevsner (2007) note: "Mid-C19 carved hexagonal font." [NB: we have no information on the medieval font]
