There are two entries for Cofton [Hackett] [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/SP0075/cofton-hackett/] [accessed 5 November 2014], one of which mentiones a priest but not a church, though there probably was one there. Miller (1890) notes the church here as a curacy of Northfield, mentions modern baptismal cups and flagon, but not a font in it. The Victoria County History (Worcester, vol. 3, 1913) notes: "The building was restored in 1861 and the earliest remaining portions date from the latter half of the 14th century", and reports a modern font here [probably from the 1861 renovation of the medieval church]. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font]
