Holy-water stoup consisting of a basin and pedestal base of hexagonal moulded shape, the lower base hexagonal-to-square; the basin well is round [NB: there is a side drain hole in the basin well, which may be an indication that the stoup was used as font at some point]. The museum label dates it to the 15th century and identifies the material as "calcaire hennuyer", that is, a limestone from the Hainaut region of Belgium.
