Baptismal font consisting of a round tapering basin with protruding heads at 90-degree angles of the flat moulding at the upper rim; the heads could be mixed, male and female, and the all have headware; on the sides, four (?) animals, one of whcih a lion passant facing right, another a dragon passant facing left; the short stem appears to be square with four clustered round columns at the angles, and there is a possibility that it is the remains of a Roman colum re-cut and re-used under the basin; the lower base is not original either, unless it has beem re-carved, since the motifs on the sides are Gothic trefoils. The metal cover is a brass dome of late date.
