Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period decorated with ribbed pattern and a number of motifs and symbols. Noted and illustrated in Soria Romanica project [http://www.soriaromanica.es/es/iglesias/?iddoc=332] [accessed 25 April 2010]. Noted and illustrated in http://www.aldealsenor.com/arte/arte8.htm [accessed 25 April 2010]. The font consists of a large round basin with tapering sides that are decorated with broad ribs all around; on the ribs, on one side, is a crude interlace motif made of three two-strand horizontal bars crossing over three vertical loops; there are other motifs on the other sides (human or simian, a bird, a snake, etc.); raised on a circular plinth. The work is crudely executed and probably local. The font stands in the nave, near the entranceway.
