Basin of a Romanesque font now re-cut and mounted on a much later base; the re-cutting appears to have removed part of the lower side of the basin, and provided it with a rounded underbowl instead; the sides of the basin are decorated with well-executed arcade of intersecting round arches, the arch itself decorated with beaded tape, the columnar supports double and provided with capitals. It is likely that the original font was bucket- or tub-shaped without a base or with a very short one. Listed and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/soria_SAN_ANDRÉS_DE_SORIA.pdf] [accessed 1 September 2025]: "pila bautismal románica (100 cm de diámetro × 80 cm de altura) decorada con arcos de medio punto, perlados y entrecruzados, que apoyan sobre columnas pareadas."
