Scene Description: This is the font in use for baptisms in this church now [cf. FontNotes]; this basin, of somewhat similar design as the old one but with an odd upper end, is probably modern; the lower base and plinth could be the original ones; the recess or alcove in which this font resides is obviously a modern cublicle at the west end of the nave, beneath the west gallery, but the actual placing of the font may be the original.

BSI recorded a in 2010 a plain bucket-shaped baptismal font broken up but kept together as a garden ornament outside the church, by the south wall of the east end of the church. It is held together by a number of stakes driven into the ground [information received from Antonio Garcia Omedes, of www.arquivoltas.com]. On 9 May 2018 BSI received new information on this font from Juan Antonio Olañeta [nfo_wwwclaustro@yahoo.es] that the font has been repaired by the locals and reinstalled in the church, by the south doorway. This church has another font, which is in use for baptismas [recent uses confirmed to Juan Antonio Olañeta by the warden in May 2018]; it is also bucket-shaped but has an odd upper rim and the appearance of being modern; it is located in a recess at the west end of the nave, beneath the gallery, on a base and plinth that may be the original ones on which the other font, the broken -now repaired- one may have been originally.
