Rustic-looking font consisting of a tub-shaped basin raised on a short circular stem -that may be part of the basin block- and a round-to-square lower base [NB: part of the lower base may be under the floor boards. The church itself is said to go back to the 13th century, by which time the church already collected tithes from the surrounding area (ibid.) The font looks simple and crude enough to belong to the period.
