Newman & Pevsner (2006) report a font "boldly and humorously carved by" Rev. Waldergrave Brewster, local parson, 1876-1884. Newman & Pevsner (ibid.) further note that the 19th-century church replaced a 14th-century chapel, but we have no information of an earlier font in it.
