There is an entry for this Kynnersley [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SJ6716/kynnersley/] [accessed 1 January 2021]; it mentions neither priest nor church in it. Anderson (1864) notes a chapel here in 1174. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SJ6727216703] notes: "Small sandstone built church. Medieval nave [...] Medieval chancel [...] West tower built 1722-3 [...] Font has rough round bowl on Victorian stem." [NB: we have no other information on the font of this church]
