Baptismal font consisting of a tub-shaped basin raised on a round splaying pedestal base, all in bronze; the upper rim of the basin has the two characteristic protrusions at opposite ends, common in many of these fonts, as anchors for the old cover; below the rim are three bands separated by thin mouldings; at the top a row of shields with the Brandenburg eagle; the next two rows bear an inscription [transcription not available]; the curved underbowl is plai; raised on a splaying round base, a thick ring moulding in the middle, decoarted with dots and little medallions; the lower end of the stem is decorated with shields similar to those on the basin, rosettes, dots and a band of zig-zag with dots in the spaces; there are [three? four?] human figures that support the base [NB: the font was restored in 2001 by Georg Ignaszewski Metallrestaurierung, Berlin [http://www.metallrestaurierung-berlin.de/taufe-mit-wappenschildern.html] [accessed 9 April 2010]]
