Anderson (1864) notes that the church in Geete, "in Burfod deanery, was valuated for taxes in 1291. Newman & Pevsner (2006) report a late-medieval octagonal font and a "flat C17 cover with acorn knop" in this church. [NB: we have no information on the font of the earlier church]
