Documented in Palissy [Réf.: PM60000919] [http://www.inventaire.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/palissy] [accessed 2 April 2010]: "Les fonts baptismaux sont composés d'une cuve en plomb et d'un support en pierre taillée. La cuve circulaire est divisée en deux compartiments [...] Le décor des fonts baptismaux se compose d'une série d'arcatures à intrados trilobé, avec dans les écoinçons des fleurs. Sous quatre arcatures sont représentés des anges céroféraires. Sous quatre autres, une figure de saint Pierre, et sous les quatre dernières, une figure de saint Jean Baptiste tenant l'Agneau [...] plomb : fondu, moulé, coulé, martelé, ciselé, décor en relief ; pierre : taillé, poli, décor dans la masse"; dated 14th century. Index entries] [NB: the dimensions given in Palissy [cf. supra] appear equivocal: "Dimensions h = 110 ; d = 61 (hauteur des fonts) ; Hauteur de la cuve : h = 98"]
