Newman & Pevsner (2006) note the re-set north doorway as being from the original Norman church here. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SO7205887847] mentions the 12th-century north doorway but no font in it. The entry for this church in Shropshire and Beyond [https://www.shropshireandbeyond.com/blog/blossom-and-blue-sky-in-an-English-heaven] [accessed 22 April 2024] notes: "The north aisle has a blocked Norman doorway, and the bowl of the font is from the same period." [NB: is the basin of the present font Norman, as claimed in the one source?]
