Noted and illustrated in 'Gotische Bronzefünten in Nordostdeutschland'] [accessed 15 April 2018]: "Der Standring dieser Fünte ist mit einem Rundbogenfries und vier Wappen versehen. Vier Figuren tragen die kesselartige Kuppa. Darauf befindet sich umlaufend eine Inschrift. Kleine Reliefs zeigen Darstellungen von Maria, einer Kreuzgruppe und dem Heiligen Georg." Late-Gothic baptismal font dated 1445 by an inscription; bucket-shaped basin has tiny reliefs of the Crucifixion, Madonna and Child and St. George; running inscription around the middle; ornamental frieze around the basin lower side; four figures support the basin on their backs, their feet welded to a ring lower base decorated with a blank arcade all around. No font cover present.
