One of two font in this church [cf. Index entry of Fehmarn No. 2 for the 14th-century bronze font in this church]. Baptismal font of the group 'Paradise fonts' made on Gotland of local sandstone; the basin is quatrefoiled inside and out, and has a torus-scotia combination atr the upper rim; on each side, at the top of the ribbed pattern, a crowned head, each different from the others [NB: one of the heads may not wear a crown]; it is raised on a moulded pedestal base of the same quatrefoiled shape. The basin shows signs of repairs, and a part of it may be a modern reconstruction.
