Baptismal font consisting of a metal basin in the traditional shape made by medieval bell founders, with a lip moulding at the upper rim; there is a blind arcade of trefoiled arches all around, the thin columns on which it rests made of torsade pattern [NB: some are very worn, other obviously restored or replaced]; the spandrels of the arcade are filled with plain circles; the metal looks like lead but is more likely bronze. It is raised on a modern stone base with a round upper volume that matches the nottom of the basin in size, a round stem with a moulding, and round-to-square lower base with leaves at 90-degree angles; narrow square plinth. The wooden font cover is of the type that replicates a building, perhaps a church, with domed roof and pointed turrets around; on a round crenellated base; appears modern.
