Baptismal font or holy-water stoup probably of the Baroque period and of strange design: the basin is mushroom-shaped, the 'hood' with deeply-carved ribbed pattern; the 'belly' of the basin is bulbous and has four grotesque faces or masks at 90-degree angles; raised on moulded square base.
