Font Notes:
García Gómez (2007) reports the font in this church as being originally from the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Magaña [closed now]. The bucket-shaped basin of the baptismal font in this 16th-century church is Romanesque; there is a groove in the upper surface of the rim, and a blind arcade of round arches with capitals covers the upper register on the sides, a small ball motif in each of the spandrels of the arcade; the second register on the side has large intersecting round arch-heads; the squat base does not appear to belong to this font and is probably a later addition.
