Basin of a font, believed to be from a previous church in Unken (destroyed by fire in 1756), and found buried in the cellar of the Pfarrhof (old vicarage), now in Heimatmuseum Kalchofengut. The baroque marble baptismal font, which is now in the right sacristy of the present church, probably dates from the time when the church was rebuilt after the great fire of 1756. The old font is now in the Museum Heimathaus Kalchofengut. The font and its recent move [from the earlier placement in the chancel) are documented by Wilfried Kaaser, Pastoralassistent, with illustrations: "Der Taufstein ist ein wertvolles Stück aus rotem Marmor (Adneter Marmor), zwölfseitig gestaltet.
