Font Notes:
The web site of the Ayuntamiento de La Toba [http://www.latoba-guadalajara.es/latoba_iglesia.htm] [accessed 18 March 2010] notes the presence of a limestone pedestal font dated probably to the re-building of this Romanesque church in the 16th century. The same source notes and illustrates a holy-water basin of hemospherical shape, decorated with deeply-carved ribbed pattern on a square base; it is now wall-mounted, but may have been intended as a standing stoup, since it has a partial stem; it could de also late-medieval. [NB: we have no information on the original font of the 13th-century church]
