Font Notes:
Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009) as a Romanesque baptismal font of the 13th century; a very crude round basin with slightly tapering sides decorated with irregular ribs, and raised on a plain squat base of round shape. Obviously the product of unskilled local hands. The Enciclopedia… (ibid.) points out some similarity with the fonts at Millana and Saelices de la Sal, in the same province: "Bajo el coro se encuentra una pila bautismal de traza medieval, aunque muy tosca.
